    Listen and Repeat

    7 sentences · 8–12 seconds to answer each

    You'll be given a situation, then hear one sentence at a time. Repeat each one exactly as you heard it.

    Take an Interview

    4 questions · 45 seconds to answer each

    Someone will ask you about yourself and your opinions. Answer in your own words — there's no right answer.

How this test works

  • You'll need a working microphone

    We'll check it with you before the test starts — record a few seconds and play it back. Your microphone stays on for the whole test, but nothing is recorded except during your answers.

  • There's no preparation time

    Recording starts the moment each prompt ends, exactly like the real exam. Start speaking straight away — a short beep tells you when you're on.

  • Every prompt plays once

    There's no replay and no rewind. Listen carefully the first time.

  • One take each, and no going back

    When the timer runs out, that answer is locked in and the test moves on by itself. You can't re-record, skip ahead or return to an earlier answer. If you go quiet, that's simply the answer you've given — so say what you can.

Somewhere quiet helps, and so does not using headphones with a very quiet microphone. Your results take a short moment to be ready after you finish — you can close the page and come back to them.
