About TOEFL Ready

We make practice tests for the TOEFL iBT as it is today: the shorter, redesigned test that started on January 21, 2026. Our goal is simple. When you sit the real exam, nothing on the screen should surprise you.

Why we built TOEFL Ready

In 2026 the TOEFL iBT changed more than it had in years: new task types, shorter sections, Reading and Listening that adapt to you, and a new band score from 1 to 6. A lot of practice material still teaches the old test.

We built TOEFL Ready so you can practice the test you’re actually going to take, in the order you’ll take it, and see your result on the scale your real score report will use.

How our practice tests are made

  • Built to the official 2026 format

Every test follows ETS’s published description of the new TOEFL iBT: the same sections, in the same order, with the same task types, question counts and time limits.

  • Adaptive, like the real test

In Reading and Listening, how you do in the first module decides which second module you get, just as it will on test day.

  • Original questions, checked before they go live

We write every passage, recording and prompt ourselves, and we check each one against the format before it reaches you.

  • Scores you can understand

You get a band from 1.0 to 6.0, its CEFR level and how it compares with the old 0–120 scale. Your band is our best estimate of how you’d do, not an official ETS score.
