Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you use this site.

The short version

Practice as much as you like. Do not copy our test content or share your account. Our scores are practice estimates, not official TOEFL results. If you pay for a subscription, it renews until you cancel it.

The rest of this page is the same thing said carefully. By using the site you are agreeing to it, so it is worth a read.

1. Who you are agreeing with

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your use of toeflready.com and everything on it (the “Service”). The Service is run by TOEFL Ready. “We” and “us” mean that company; “you” means you. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What we provide

Web-based practice tests for the TOEFL iBT 2026 format, covering Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing, full-length practice tests, estimated scores and feedback, progress tracking, and tools such as the score calculator. Everything here is practice material we wrote ourselves.

TOEFL® and TOEFL iBT® are registered trademarks of ETS. This website is not endorsed or approved by ETS. All practice content is independently created for practice purposes only.

Our practice tests are built to match the TOEFL iBT format, but they are not the real exam and we have no part in setting or marking it. We use the TOEFL name only to describe what our practice is for.

3. Who can use the Service

  • You need to be at least 13 and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. If you are under 18, please read these Terms with a parent or guardian first.
  • If you use the Service for an organisation, such as a school or an academy, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.

4. Your account

  • Use a real email address, and keep your password and any sign-in links we email you to yourself.
  • One account per person. Accounts are not to be shared, sold or passed on. A subscription covers one person, not a study group.
  • Anything done through your account is treated as done by you, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.
  • You can use the free tests without an account. Creating one lets you keep your results and progress.

5. Access to tests

We are in an early-access period. Right now every practice test on the site is free to take. That will not last indefinitely: once the library is further along, most tests will need a paid subscription, while the first test in each section and the first Full Test stay free. We will make this clear on the site before it changes.

You can retake any test you have access to as many times as you like.

6. Subscriptions, billing and refunds

  • The plans and their prices are shown on the Pricing page. That page is always the current one.
  • Paid subscriptions are recurring. Each plan renews automatically, and your payment method is charged again at the end of every billing period until you cancel: the Weekly plan renews every 7 days, the Monthly plan every 30 days and the Premium plan every 90 days. You authorise this recurring charge at checkout, and our payment company shows you the recurring payment before you confirm.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next automatic charge, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Payments are non-refundable, including for unused or partly used periods, and for renewals that happen because a subscription was not cancelled in time. The exceptions are charges made in error, such as being charged for a renewal after you had cancelled, or more than once for the same period. Our Refund and Cancellation Policy sets out those cases and how to ask. It is part of these Terms.
  • If you switch plans, the change takes effect at your next renewal rather than immediately.
  • Payment is handled by an outside payment company. We never receive your card details.
  • If we change our prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it does.
  • Taxes may be added where the law requires them, and the amount is shown before you pay.

7. Using the Service properly

Please do not:

  • use the Service in a way that breaks the law;
  • copy, record, republish or resell our questions, passages, audio or any other test content;
  • use bots, scrapers or similar programs to access or bulk-download anything from the site without our permission;
  • share your account, or take a test on someone else’s behalf;
  • try to interfere with how responses are marked, or with anyone else’s use of the site;
  • try to break into any part of the Service, or get around the limits on what your account can reach;
  • disrupt the Service or the servers and networks connected to it;
  • upload or send anything unlawful, abusive, offensive or harmful.

If you do any of this, we may suspend or close your account. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first.

8. Who owns what

Our content

The site, its design, software, questions, passages, audio, pictures, logos and all other practice content belong to us or the people who created them for us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Using the Service gives you a personal, non-transferable permission to use that content for your own exam preparation, and nothing more.

TOEFL® and TOEFL iBT® are registered trademarks of Educational Testing Service (ETS). This site is not endorsed by, affiliated with or approved by ETS.

Your responses

What you write and record while taking a test stays yours. You give us permission to store it and process it so we can mark it and show you your results, as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that what you submit is your own work.

9. Your scores are estimates

The scores and feedback this site gives you are there to help you practice and see where to focus. They are our best estimate of how a response like yours would do. They are not official TOEFL scores, they are not issued or recognised by ETS, and they cannot be used for a university application or any other official purpose.

Doing well here does not guarantee you will do well in the real exam. Please do not treat a score on this site as a prediction of your result.

10. The Service as it is

We work hard to keep this site accurate, available and useful, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises of any kind. We cannot promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors, that every result will be accurate, or that it will always match the current exam exactly. Some features rely on outside services, which can have problems of their own.

To use the speaking tests you will need a working microphone, and a stable internet connection helps for every test. Looking after your own device, connection and saved work is your responsibility.

11. Limits on our responsibility

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost data, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for anything that follows from relying on a practice score or from being unable to use the Service. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot legally be limited, including anything that cannot be excluded under the consumer law where you live.

12. If you cause us a problem

You agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs we suffer from claims made against us because you broke these Terms or misused the Service. This does not apply where the law does not allow it.

13. Changing or stopping the Service

We may change, add, suspend or remove features or tests, or stop the Service altogether. We will try to give notice of anything that significantly affects a paid subscription, and if we end a paid plan early, we will refund the unused part of the period.

14. Ending things

You can stop using the site at any time, and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms. If you delete your account while a subscription is running, that subscription is cancelled straight away and no refund is issued for the time remaining. Anything in these Terms that is meant to continue after that, such as the sections on ownership and responsibility, does.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here and change the “last updated” date, and if a change matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect. Carrying on using the site afterwards means you accept the new version.

16. The legal bits

  • If any part of these Terms turns out not to be enforceable, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given up the right to.
  • You may not transfer your rights under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours if the Service is taken over by another business.
  • These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control.

17. Which law applies

These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which TOEFL Ready operates. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
