About this test
What to expect
This test follows the TOEFL iBT 2026 Speaking format. First you'll repeat sentences you hear, one at a time, in a short scenario. Then you'll answer interview questions in your own words. There's no preparation time in either task, each answer is recorded once, and you can't go back, so speak as soon as each prompt ends. You'll need a working microphone.
