GoodMocks teamThe short answer
ETS’s official prep now lives on its main TOEFL prep page. On November 1, 2026, ETS’s TestReady pages led there, and the page didn’t use the TestReady name. It offers two free full-length practice tests in the January 2026 format and an interactive sample, plus paid options such as a scored practice test for $49. For more free practice, add full practice tests from other sites, and only ever sign in to ETS on an ets.org address.

Where TOEFL TestReady is nowLink to Where TOEFL TestReady is now
ETS announced TOEFL TestReady on February 7, 2024, as a single portal for its official prep, at testready.ets.org. It brought free extras, like a scored activity of the day and a personal study plan, together with paid section tests and practice sets.
When we checked on November 1, 2026, ETS’s TestReady pages sent us to its general TOEFL prep page instead, which doesn’t mention TestReady, and the old ets.org/toefl-testready link showed “page not found”. We couldn’t find an ETS notice explaining the change, so treat ETS’s prep page as the place to look for its latest official prep.

If you used TestReady before 2026Link to If you used TestReady before 2026
TestReady was built for the TOEFL iBT as it was before January 21, 2026. ETS’s 2024 announcement describes its practice with tasks from that test, like a lecture with six questions and Integrated Speaking, which the 2026 test no longer has.
So if you find older TestReady material, or notes and screenshots from it, check that they name the 2026 tasks before you spend time on them. Our 2026 format overview lists all twelve.

Two official tests won’t carry you to test day. GoodMocks is an independent practice site, not part of ETS: our tests follow ETS’s published format, timed and in ETS’s order, and end with your band score and a full review. Test 1 of every section and Full Test 1 are free, with no account needed.
- Week one: take one of our free full practice tests to find your weakest section.
- Weeks in between: practice that section’s tasks, using our task guides and the free practice PDFs.
- One to two weeks out: take ETS’s two free full-length tests as your dress rehearsals.
